Ever have one of those weeks that is so draining that you are just so excited to play catch up and do laundry over the weekend? Well, that was this week for me! Even though I felt on top of my work and school work this week, I had added a few more things to my normal schedule, such as my BBG workouts. I’m doing my best to stick to my goals for 2018 so far, but that often means getting up earlier in the morning. I just downloaded the Carrot alarm clock app because I found myself shutting off my regular alarm in my sleep – not good! The Carrot alarm makes you do a series of “tasks” to shut off the alarm so it forces you to actually wake up to be alert enough to shut the alarm off. So far I think it’s helping me!
It’s funny that I need this now because when I was in high school I actually used to wake up in the middle of the night and start getting ready for school. It would be maybe 2 or 3 in the morning, but for some reason, I thought it was time for school. On a few occasions, I would even shower and get completely ready and start making breakfast. My mom would have to come out and tell me to go back to bed! Things surely have changed over the years!!
So, now that is finally the weekend, it’s time to relax, right?! Well, sort of! I still have tons of homework and I’m sure you have lots to do. BUT I do think its important to reward ourselves from time to time. Every Sunday afternoon I like to give myself I fresh manicure because it’s my own little reward for getting my work done and helps me feel polished for the week ahead.
And of course, a little retail therapy is always a lovely treat. In the spirit of treating yourselves, here are few noteworthy deals:
Crate & Barrel – 60% off clearance right now! Snag some kitchen wares like these beautiful bowls or these classic canisters. Of, if your wine glass collection suffered some casualties this holiday season, restock with these beauties.
Revolve – 65% off sale! I mean…how can you not? Can’t go wrong with a chic moto jacket or a delicate feminine top. Even better – pair them together! I absolutely love the contrast of sweet feminine pieces with edgier, bolder pieces.
