Spring Transitions

Boston has finally shown us some warm weather, and spring finally feels real! As New Englanders, we are often slow to transition our wardrobes from winter to spring, e.g., I’m actually wearing a turtleneck as I write this, since there is still a chill in the air. Despite the fact that we still have to hold on to some of our warmer clothes for a bit longer, we can still transition over to our spring/summer handbags! I, for one, could not be more excited to ditch the boring black winter handbag for something a little bit brighter.

With O bag Boston’s new spring product line, the options are endless. For each bag shape you choose, you can mix and match any of the handles, linings and accessories to reflect your own personal style.

O ’50 Handbag

The O ’50 style is one of the most versatile designs. With the tall, structured body and rounded opening, this style can be dressed up or down. The most classic way to wear the O’50 is simply with basic handles, and of course a fun charm (like my tassel). You can either choose neutral handle options, or switch it up with some of the bright, colorful options. Personally, I love the creamy white bag contrasted with colorful handles (like the one I have in this post).

O ’50 Backpack

Another chic way to wear the O ’50 is as a backpack. Just snap on the shoulder straps in one easy step! Having these straps is a great option to allow you to use your O ’50 during busy spring days when you might be bopping around the city. Later, you can easily take your backpack from day to nighttime by unsnapping and slipping off the straps. Voila! You have a chic handbag instead!

O Basket

Lastly, another sweet handbag option for spring is the O Basket. This is a little bucket style tote that can be worn with a short handle (like my white rope option) or as a crossbody bag with a longer strap. The O Basket comes in a variety of colors and can be paired with the cutest printed linings. I chose a sage green basket to pair with a printed lilac patterned lining. It doesn’t get more spring-inspired than that!
