Rose Print Midi Dress

Midi length dresses and skirts are having a major moment right now. Sometimes people think they can’t pull off the midi length because they are too tall, too short, or just too…anything! To be honest, I think it is one of the most flattering cuts for anyone! I am 5’9″ so I definitely feel that shorter dresses and skirts sometimes are just too short for me. I find I am more comfortable in a longer dress because it just feels more appropriate . If you are on the shorter side, just pair a little heel with your midi dress (see here for the same dress paired with espadrille wedges), and if you are on the taller side, flats will be just fine.

You all know I can’t resist a good floral print, and this BB Dakota dress (currently $73) was a given. I’ve styled it once before here with denim and espadrilles, but it was just too perfect of a dress to send back into the depths of my closet.  I seem to be accumulating more and more clothes than I’ve ever had before, and sometimes my closet just seems like a black hole of dresses loved and then forgotten. It seems silly, but this actually makes me a bit sad. This charming dress that I first loved and cherished just absolutely had to make another appearance on the blog. I would love to know if you guys appreciate the same pieces repeated here but styled differently! Let me know 🙂

Neutral lace up ghillie flats and an easy tote bag complete the look and allow this to transition out of summer. Late August days of warm sun interspersed with some cooler, crisper fall weather are going to start calling for some more layers. Dare I say that sweater weather will be upon us before we know it? Dare I say that I am actually a bit excited for it?!

Who else is a fan of the midi length skirt?

I definitely say re-style pieces! Especially when the dress is this pretty! I love this floral print and it’s so cute layered with the blazer! xo Bryn http://www.waketonroad.com

Midi dresses are my favorite – I love the print on this and you could easily dress this up with heels and wear it to a wedding or fun event!! xo, biana –BlovedBoston

Dressed up with heels would make a great wedding guest look! Thanks for the suggestion!
