Happy Monday! It’s the start of the first workweek of 2016, and we have to start it off on the right foot! It may seem trivial, but getting organized on Sunday nights can make Monday mornings quite easy to tackle. Having lunches made and outfits picked out ahead of time make is so that you don’t have to spend precious time in the morning sorting out these little details. Your day will run more smoothly, and you’ll have more time and energy to focus on the real issues at hand.

I’m definitely not saying I have my lunch ready made and my outfit picked out every night, but I like to at least have an idea in mind. When I do have everything ready to grab and go the night before, my morning is all that much better.

I love these lunch containers. I used to always use glass containers, but they are actually heavier than you’d think lugging to and from work each day. Plastic containers, especially with dividers, are much easier and can store different lunch components. I like to keep some lunch staples on hand like fruits, veggies, pasta, rice, nuts and cheese to pack my lunches. This week I have a mixed green salad with a side of carrots, cheddar cheese and sesame covered almonds for one day and a combo of egg salad and cold pasta salad for another!

Happy 2016, all!
