Fall Color Palette

I know I’ve gone on and on about the end of summer blues, but fall is quite magical in its own regard. One of the best parts? The colors! The leaves change hues and so do our wardrobes. Today, I am so excited to be sharing a post with all of you that I worked on with cabi to feature their fall 2016 collection! In July, I was lucky enough to attend the cabi Scoop here in Boston to preview all of the new pieces in the fall collection. The pieces that popped out at me the most were a variety of fiery reds, bright crimsons and deep burgundies. I love a good pop of color, so of course, when I had the opportunity to style my own look from the collection, I went right for a combination of these vibrant hues.

Heartbreaker Top

This season, cabi is all about mixing different shades from the same color family, and that concept is radiating in the heartbreaker top. I pulled out the bright crimson in the print by paring it with a solid skirt. With all of these brights, I wanted to tone down the overall look with a light gray quilted jacket. Plus, a little extra warmth will most definitely be necessary before we know it!

The best part about the heartbreaker top is that it is a Heart of cabi item, so part of the proceeds go to supporting the Heart of cabi Foundation. cabi is well known for its microlending and mentorship program, providing small business loans to women entrepreneurs in developing countries. I know I can definitely stand behind that!
