New Englanders head to the Cape and Islands all summer long rain or shine. We’re used to the ever changing weather, and will never let it stop us from having a fabulous getaway. Recently, during my visit to Martha’s Vineyard, each day was both the sunny and warm day I had hoped for, as well as the chilly, rainy and foggy day I had hoped to avoid. The weather just couldn’t make up it’s mind! During a sunny window at golden hour, we snapped these photos on our hydrangea-laden path to dinner.
I love the nautical styles found across the Vineyard, and I love dressing up for dinner. This dress, by one of my favorite bloggers, Rach Parcell was the perfect striped nautical look for dinner in Edgartown. I was so excited to wear it, that it was the first dress I pulled out of my suitcase on the very first night. Rach’s whole collection is feminine and girly, but still versatile and fits my style so well.
And who can resist a bright pop of yellow? I surely can not!
