Subdued Fall Hues

Summer is over. Well, it’s not officially over, but judging by the crisp air, the heavy traffic patterns, and of course the fact that back-to-school campaigns are out in full force, fall is definitely here for all intents and purposes. This time of year can be particularly hard to dress for. If it’s 95 degrees and sunny, I know exactly what to wear.  If it’s 30 degrees and snowing, I know exactly what to wear. It is the days during which it might fluctuate between 60 and 80 degrees that really get me!

Regardless of temperature, I’m totally on board with all the fall colors. You saw my vibrant fall look here, so here is a more subdued fall look. With blues and browns and grays, sometimes I like a subtler color scheme, but with a bright pop, like my yellow belt, of course!

Transitional Booties

These Jeffrey Campbell booties…I just love them. They are so beyond perfect for this time of year. The cutouts make them more breathable for warmer days, but they are totally appropriate for fall outfits. You’ve seen them here, here, and here already….oh, and also here.

It’s no secret that fall is here! And I’m ready to embrace it, finally! I think fall is actually my favorite season of the year, but strangely enough the end of summer seems to have so many emotions tied to it. I think it is that we associate the new fall season with back-to-school and the end of vacation, but now that I’m not going back-to-school anymore (which is still kind of weird to me!), I’m truly embracing all the magic that fall has to offer this year.

What are you most excited about this fall?

I love everything about this look girl and that hat is just perfect!! I can’t believe that the weather hasn’t dipped more here, but I now need it to stay a little warm for a party I’m planning so I’m okay with that lol! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston
