Blush Tones for Fall

Blush tones and dusty rose hues have made their fair share of appearances here on The Lilac Press. I have a favorite color, and I’m not afraid to admit it. Look no further than this springtime look, this pleated midi skirt, this printed top or this feminine floral look. Well…you get the idea. I know what I like.

Pink is not necessarily what you might envision when you think of a fall color palette. That being said, I think there is something particularly flattering about a muted rose color, no matter the time of year! Blush tones may seem to be made for spring, but I think they are the perfect complement to the golds, browns and burgundies of this time of year! Plus, a rosy colored suede is completely lust worthy. These scalloped flats are my favorite part of my outfit.

Subtle Statement

I love wearing a piece that makes a statement, but without being too over-the-top. This dusty rose jacket is perfect because the cut is simple and flattering, but the hue is definitely noticeable in all the right ways. I got a lot of compliments on this one! I think I like it so much because it is appropriate for the office, definitely not drab, and allows me to be true to my own style!

Also, I’ve been wearing this ruffle sweatshirt a little too much since I got it (like in this Instagram). Be warned: you will be seeing it again very soon. It’s super comfy, very versatile and a definitely compliment magnet!

    I am just the slightest bit obsessed with your pink coat and adorable pink flats. I’ve been looking into getting a new wool coat for this winter and pink is definitely one of my options!
