This coming week is bound to be filled with lots of holiday parties for all of you! Between your own work parties, significant others’ work parties and holiday get-togethers with friends, there is an endless need for appropriate and festive party clothes. In the past I’ve gravitated toward black and gold, but this year I was aiming for something a bit brighter. The holidays are all about bright, vibrant crimson tones, and I see no better opportunity to pair a ruffled, feminine red dress with a bright red lip. I love the drop waist of this dress, especially because the fit is loose enough to accommodate any imbibing you may be doing at those parties that may include multiple course meals and/or an open bar.

The Christmas season is one of my absolute favorite times to be a Bostonian. No matter where you go, festive decor and holiday cheer abound. I’ve always had an affinity for the ocean, and spending sometime down by the harbor was the perfect end to a busy week last week. Despite the salty wind in my hair and blowing my skirt all around, I never turn down an opportunity to breathe in that refreshing ocean air.
