Quintessential Boston: Beacon Hill

One of my favorite places to go for a weekend stroll is Beacon Hill. As Boston’s oldest, quaintest and most beautiful neighborhood, there is certainly a lot of character. I am always in awe of just how much history is right here in our own backyard. On a hot summer day, strolling around shady Beacon Hill was the perfect way to enjoy the weather AND beat the heat (seriously, I love the warm weather, but don’t do too well in the direct sun).

One of my favorite places for a cappuccino and breakfast or lunch is Tatte in Beacon Hill. A very European inspired café, with lots of healthy options and over-the-top, decadent pastries. Chocolate croissant, anyone? There is also a recently expanded location in Brookline, and both locations are very Instagrammable, for those interested 😉

This super soft chambray dress that I also wore to the O Bag Boston store opening is so comfy that it has quickly become an everyday summer favorite. On hot and sticky summer days (that New England humidity seems to be worse in the city), the only thing I seem to be able to wear is a loose fitting dress, so this easy going option was a great investment for me, personally.

^^Also, these Jack Rogers are such a summer staple. I actually have to force myself not to wear them everyday since they are so comfortable and the leather has formed to my feet perfectly.

Seriously though, how cute is Beacon Hill? It’s just the best place to stroll around and marvel at all the exquisite architecture and detailing.

What are your favorite places for a leisurely stroll?
