6 Product Picks: My Skincare Revival

This is my skincare revival. “This could take a while,” is my new mantra when getting ready because I’ve TOTALLY amped up my skincare game, and I’m not apologizing. The past six months have been some of my busiest ever. And when life gets crazy, one of the first things to suffer (well, after my diet, my sleep, etc.) is my skin! As a result, I’ve recently taken it upon myself to completely overhaul my skincare regimen, which means trying lots and lots of new products. Dry, tired, dull lifeless…so over it! Here are the latest and greatest products that have made it into my arsenal and are significantly contributing to my skincare revival.

ONE // Dermalogica Precleanse Cleansing Oil
First up, if you’re not double cleansing, you’re not doing it right. Seriously, this oil changed my whole routine, and now I don’t feel fully cleansed without this oil. It a hydrophilic oil, which means that when mixed with water it becomes a “milky emulsion” that quite literally melts off my makeup. Personally, I love the feel of oil on my skin and that it’s moisturizing, not drying!

TWO // Naturally Serious Major Moisture Gentle Cream Cleanser
Again, all about the hydration here! Never anything drying. I love using this cleanser after the Precleanse oil because it’s packed with coconut oil and antioxidants that nourish and brighten. My skin truly feels clean and hydrated after use. Plus, I love the new Naturally Serious line because it’s clinically effective but formulated without any sulfates, parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, or any of that bad stuff.

THREE // Naturally Serious Fruit-Tox Resurfacing Facial Remedy
This mask looks intense. And it is! In all the best ways. It’s super quick – you only leave it on for 1-2 minutes, and the mineral-rich red clay draws out impurities without making skin feel tight and dry like other clay masks. When you go to rinse it off, the volcanic pumice acts as a physical exfoliant. It’s super gentle, but also effective. Needless to say, I’m a fan!

FOUR // Naturally Serious Cold Pressed Peel Pads
I know I said nothing drying and these sound like they could be, but trust me, they are not! They are ultra gentle and even deliver Naturally Serious’s signature Anti-Pollution Blend of six antioxidants (pomegranate, goji berry, grape seed, green tea, red tea, and white tea) to help alleviate irritation and damage caused by the environment.

FIVE // Drunk Elephant Virgin Marula Antioxidant Face Oil
Oil, oil, oil – I love the feeling of oil on my skin. But, this oil is next-level luxurious. Truly magical, even.  I would buy it in mass quantities and put it everywhere if I could. I love that it’s super clean – literally just ONE ingredient.

SIX // Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Gel Moisturizer
Lastly, here’s a product I’ve used for years. This moisturizer gives my skin a refreshing boost (ideal for mornings), and it’s lightweight. Ideal which means it works well underneath makeup.
